The Most Bizarrely Named Horror Game is Coming to Switch

“Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk” and “Milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk” to Invade Switch

Even though I consider myself outclassed by many colleagues when it comes to finding some of the most wonderfully bizarre games available, I think that I may have found the weirdest name for a horror game ever. This odd visual novel has all the visual elements one might expect from a psychological horror yet its naming convention might bury it, perhaps intentionally, within game marketplaces and online search engines. Releasing as a bundle of two games and being published by Forever Entertainment (the company behind Panzer Dragoon Remake and The House of the Dead Remake), Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk and Milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 11th.

Further examination of press materials reveals the titles of the two games as “Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk” and “Milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk” both of which were already released on Steam and developed by Nikita Kryukov. Despite the hard-to-track-down names, both games feature thousands of reviews and have Overwhelmingly Positive ratings. This could be a hidden gem of horror stuffed beneath a pile of hidden gems.

Either way, more players will be able to get their hands on these titles on Switch and that’s always a good thing.

Apparently, the game features a “psychedelic narrative full of pyramidal verbal constructions” of a girl with a mental disorder but just by checking out the trailer, the game reminds me of the twisted anime series Serial Experiments Lain or Paranoia Agent. There’s a certain energy that can be captured through that style of visual storytelling so this may be a worthwhile playthrough for fans of those works.

Regardless, we enjoy finding some of gaming’s most unique experiences and this could be one of them. Be aware that this game may feature graphic content that some players may find to be overwhelming.
