The Last of Us Part II Ellie Edition Restock Sells Out Quickly

Thursday morning, as promised, another opportunity to order The Last of Us Ellie Edition became available. As expected, it didn’t last long. I, unfortunately, didn’t have the money myself, otherwise, I’d be staring at a receipt of purchase right now. The Ellie Edition comes with quite a few goodies like a statue, bracelet, and pins, but exclusive to this edition is the backpack and vinyl soundtrack. The good news is that the Collector’s Edition seems to be readily available for pre-order.

Along with this, it was announced that the game will be available to play at the upcoming PAX East event that goes from February 27th to March 1st. Attendees should expect quite a crowd and it looks like the best way is to sign up is via the Experience PlayStation app.

Another statue was also announced, this time an 8 inch Ellie wielding a machete made from polyresin. Get a closer look at the associated video below that shows off the various details. Along with this, there will be concept art prints available for sale. All of this is available through Dark Horse who is also publishing the “Art of” book for The Last of Us Part II.

The last announcement shared is something everyone can enjoy, a free dynamic theme for PlayStation is available. Featuring recently revealed art, showing Ellie in similar poses, but in contrasting situations. The theme comes with music, and changes the look of the icons in the PlayStation 4 interface. Using the Playstation’s clock, the scene will change depending on what time of day it is. Get it for free by using the codes below based on where you live.

Did you manage to get your hands on a pre-order for the Ellie Edition? Are you like me and hope they do yet another round? Either way we will see on May 29th to see if the game meets the very high expectations for it.
