Fortnite KB+M vs. Controller, Evening the Battlefield and Concerns
There has been a lot of debate about Fortnite players using Keyboard and Mouse (KB+M) on the console against players who do not. Some think this is just a choice of peripherals, but others scream that it gives an unfair advantage to the KB+M players on a platform where they play against others using less precise tech. While this argument has been ongoing, it was revived today as epic announced they have fixed mouse support on consoles.

There is, however, a silver lining for all involved in the argument, no matter how you see it. Epic has announced that in the near future you will be placed into a KB+M server if you use one on console, while controller users will be placed in a controller lobby.
This is a pretty fair compromise but it raises a mild concern for me and a few small questions. If someone queues up using a controller then swaps to KB+M when dropping in, does that mean they are cheating the system? Especially knowing there will be far fewer people using KB+M against them? Also, what specialized gamepads will be considered, such as the Hori Tac Grip for PS4? We will find out moving forward though, as Epic announces more on this.
